Lulu

We have a new member to our family. Her name is Lulu. She is a Chiweenie dog. She is 8 weeks old and she is about 3 x smaller than our cat, Stanley.

Shower Singer

Lauren is actually not just a shower singer. She will sing just about anywhere. She sings with all her heart and her voice may not be right on key, but she is passionate. I have been wanting to catch her on video, but it's hard. She normally stops as soon as she knows I have the camera.

However, without embarrassing her too much, I finally got it! This is her shower debut, singing "Glory" By Selah and Nicole Nordeman.

Game Over...maybe.....

I'm done with Hunger Games. It took me longer to get into it than I thought it would, but it was worth hanging on. I cannot wait to "Catch" fire....:) But only if Cinna makes my clothes....wink, wink.

Is anyone else absolutley thrilled that this show will be ending? I'm mean really. Hasn't this gone on long enough?

I'm not here to take sides with Jon or Kate. I'm on the kids' side. It baffles me that these parents did not immediately stop filming when they filed for divorce. There will already be some damage just from being on film their whole life, but add a nasty divorce and all this crazy media coverage? I am praying these children can go on to have a relatively normal life after this.

Good Mother, Where Art Thou?

Today, I feel like a bad mother. I'm running out of options with darling #3.

Frankly, she is working on my last, already frayed nerve.

I feel like I'm failing as a mother.

She does. not. listen.

She throws fits if she doesn't get her way.

She lies.

She colors on things.

She destroys things.

Really?

I mean, really?

Where did I go wrong? I love this child, but I get so angry at her defiance.

I'm spent.

Wits end.

Edge of the cliff.

What the heck do I do with her? She's too young for boarding school. We've tried pretty much every form of discipline under the sun. She is just Emily. This is who God gave me. I'm just questioning why He thought I could stay sane in raising her.

The Caramel Cob

A fall treat! I love my pumpkin seeds, but this hit me right in my sweet tooth! It's caramel corn in the shape of a corn cob! Clever, huh? My sister sent my kids some in a care package. Now I'm wondering where to get them??????
